I have owned Tivos for many years, and they are great, but they have not changed/improved their units in these many years. I mean they're way better than Comcast's horrible DVR units, but they need to improve searching features. Netfix is nice to have but very frustrating to look for a movie. You have to scroll through EVERY movie downloaded to get to your most recently downloaded. The opposite would be better, or a search feature.
Tivo customer service still uses Americans that speak English! It may cost them extra, but I appreciate it.

The most common problem with them is the hard drive going bad, and they will go bad. But Tivo can fix it for you, for a cost.
